FrameFlow - Alerts by E-mail

Get Alerts by E-mail for Critical Network Conditions

E-mail alerts are a critical component for any monitoring system and FrameFlow gives you complete control over who is alerted and when.
E-mail Notification Options

Multiple Notification Styles

FrameFlow includes multiple notification styles that help you to control how you are notified. They include "Errors Only", "Successes Only", "Successes and Errors", and "State Change Only".
The first three types are straightforward, notifying you simply based on the result of the monitoring action.
State change notification will send you one alert when a device first fails a check and then another alert when it goes back into a success state. It's a great way to control floods of notifications. Even better, state change notifications use the "Notify only after X failures in a row" option. Set that value to "2" and it will take two errors in a row to trigger a notification and then two successes in a row to trigger the success notification. It's a perfect way to handle "flapping" conditions without getting excessive alerts.

Primary and Backup E-mail Servers

Typically FrameFlow will deliver e-mail notifications using your corporate mail server but it also has the flexibility to use Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Office 365 or any generic mail server.
You can even specify multiple backup servers so if FrameFlow can't deliver a notification using your primary server, it will try the backups in order until it is successful.

Cloud Alert

And don't forget to check out Cloud Alert. It's our hosted notification service that lets you easily send voice and text message alerts. Cloud Alert also notifies you if it has lost contact with your FrameFlow server.
