FrameFlow - Disk and File Monitoring
Check Used and Available Space on Drives, Volumes and Folders
Disk space monitoring is the core of any advanced monitoring system and FrameFlow has you
fully covered. FrameFlow includes detailed monitoring for drives, folders and individual files.
Drive Space Monitoring
FrameFlow can monitor all of your drives and volumes for space. It can warn you both based on
percentages (e.g. warn when a disk is more than 80% full) or based on absolute sizes (warn
when there is less than 50Gb of available space).
It can also warn based on incremental changes. For example, FrameFlow can alert you if the
available space changes by more than 5% or 10Gb since the last check. It's a great way to
detect those cases where someone dumped a lot of files on the network without permission.

Directory and Folder Monitoring
FrameFlow's Directory event monitor can do the same types of monitoring but focused on specified
directories or folders.
You can be alerted based on the total size of all files in the directory and also get alerted about
incremental changes in the total size. You can select to get a list of all files that are larger
than a specified size or newer/older than a specified time threshold.
You can even include all subdirectories and specify file name filters to focus on the files
that you specifically need to monitor.

File Monitoring
Everything from backup systems to custom scripts will write to log files and FrameFlow lets
you monitor them, or any other type of file, in multiple ways.
You can be alerted if the file's size has grown, shrank or remained the same since the last check
or if the file's last modified time has changed or remained the same. If you have a regular process
that runs and updates its log file when it is done, this gives you a great way to get alerted if that
process hasn't run when it should have.
FrameFlow can check the contents of the file and look for specific text. It even has an option
to remember its last position in the file and only check for newer text each time it runs.
And so you can have some context, it has options to include multiple text lines that are near
the place where the match was made.
It's awesome for monitoring log files.
