Our entry level FrameFlow Core 50 edition can monitor up to 50 network devices and other editions scale up to 100, 200, 500, 1000 and unlimited. We have customers monitoring 2000+ systems all from a single FrameFlow system running on modest hardware.
About FrameFlow MSP
How is FrameFlow MSP different from FrameFlow Server Monitor?FrameFlow MSP is primarily designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) who want to provide monitoring services to their client base. It also works well for larger organizations with IT resources at multiple remote sites.
How does FrameFlow MSP work? With FrameFlow MSP you install the master console at your headquarters and open up a port on your firewall. At each remote site you install our remote node software on just one system. That remote node can monitor hundreds of systems at each site. The remote node calls home to the master console over a secure HTTPS/SSL connection. Once the remote node is installed all management, reporting, dashboarding and configuration is done from your master console.
How many systems can I monitor? Each FrameFlow MSP edition supports monitoring a different number of network devices. Licensing is based on the total number of systems being monitored across all sites. For example, with a FrameFlow MSP 100 license you monitor 25 systems at two sites and 50 systems at another site, or any other combination that adds up to 100. We have customers who are monitoring 2000+ systems from just one FrameFlow MSP installation.
What monitoring features are included in FrameFlow MSP?All editions of FrameFlow MSP include our complete set of monitoring options including SNMP, Exchange, Active Directory and everything else included in FrameFlow Complete.
About the 30-Day Evaluation Versions
Is the evaluation edition full-featured?Yes. The evaluation version of FrameFlow Server Monitor is our full FrameFlow Complete edition including all of our monitoring features and support for monitoring up to 1000 systems. The evaluation version of FrameFlow MSP has no limits on the number of sites or devices being monitored.
What if I need a bit more than 30 days?No problem at all, just send a note to support@frameflow.com and we'll send you the instructions to extend your evaluation.
What what happens if my evaluation expires?Your event monitors will be paused and your configuration will be saved. Once you've placed an order, you can resume your event monitors and you're right back where you were before.
Placing a Order
How long will it take to process my order? If you place your order through our web site, in most cases your order will be processed within a matter of minutes.
Which credit cards do you accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Can I use a purchase order number (PO #) to make my payment?Yes, no problem. There's an option in our ordering system to say you want to use a PO and it will prompt you for the required details. Orders placed using a PO take a bit longer to process because we need to contact your finance department to confirm payment terms and invoicing options.
Questions about Notifications
What happens if I configure e-mail notifications but my e-mail server is down? You can configure multiple e-mail servers and the system will try each of them in order until it can successfully send the notification. If you need notification in the event of total network failures you might consider using voice notifications or SMS text notifications.
What are voice notifications?Voice notifications use a standard voice modem to call you on your cell phone or other phone number and play a sound. For critical events such as your main internet connections being down, voice notifications provide a direct way to alert system administrators.
What are SMS notifications?SMS notifications use an SMS modem to send text messages over the cellular network of your carrier. This bypasses your network infrastructure so the alerts get through even in the event of a major network failure.
What if I have a custom type of notification that I need? You can use our script notifications to do this and perform all kinds of custom notification actions. Using industry standard PowerShell, VBScript, JavaScript or PerlScript you can create notifications that perform exactly the actions you need. If you need assistance creating custom notifications we're happy to help out however we can.
