FrameFlow 2015.8 Released
On December 9th we released FrameFlow v2015.8 which is a maintenance release. It corrects a long list of issues affecting dashboards and network diagrams. It also fixes a bug that affected Windows event log monitoring. A lot of you have already upgraded to 2015.8 and the feedback we’re getting is that it is very stable. So if you’re still running an earlier release, we recommend that you upgrade when you have a chance and take advantage of all the new features.
Are you running FrameFlow Server Monitor but wondering about FrameFlow Multi-Site Monitor and what it could do for you? Our multi-site edition lets you monitor systems at multiple remote locations and still all through a single web-based console. It’s great if you have systems at multiple locations or datacenters. It’s also really useful for larger monitoring configurations because it lets you distribute the monitoring workload to multiple remote nodes. That lets you monitor more systems on faster schedules and can let you expand dramatically.
You can convert a FrameFlow Server Monitor license to FrameFlow Multi-Site Monitor for just the difference in cost between the two licenses. Best of all, it’s easy to preserve your existing monitoring configuration so there’s no need to start from scratch.
We prepared a two-minute video that explains how FrameFlow Multi-Site Monitor works so if it’s something you’ve wondered about, use the following like to get a quick overview:
