12. Important Note About Authentication Profiles[/title]
If you are upgrading from v6.3.3 or earlier, you may see error messages about authentication failures after upgrading your master console. Later versions and the current release include support for global and site-specific profiles. The authentication error messages will appear because the older remote nodes do not know about the new profile types.
The error messages will no longer appear after all your remote nodes have auto-upgraded themselves to the new release. The auto-upgrade process can take up to 45 minutes. During this period you may wish to modify your notification profiles to not alert you by e-mail.
[title size="3"]13. Upgrading the Remote Monitoring Nodes[/title]
In your internet browser, refresh the FrameFlow MSP page. If you changed the port number in step #5, you will have to change it in the URL. You should now see your configuration and data from the Tembria Multi-Site Monitor installation. Over the course of the next hour, the remote monitoring nodes at your remote sites will automatically upgrade themselves to the FrameFlow MSP edition. You may see events in your event history indicating that the remote monitoring nodes could not contact the master console. This is normal as the master console will have been unavailable during the upgrade process.
[title size="3"]14. Finished[/title]
Once all the remote monitoring nodes have upgraded themselves, you can now uninstall the Tembria Multi-Site Monitor master console.
