System Uptime Event Monitor
Monitors the Uptime of Your Windows-based Systems
About the System Uptime Event Monitor

The System Uptime Event Monitor watches and alerts based on the system uptime on your servers and workstations. Use it to receive notifications when your systems have been restarted.

Getting Started

To begin, create a new System Uptime Event Monitor and add the devices you want to monitor.

As always, select the level of alert you'd like to receive if the event monitor cannot connect to your selected network device.

Connection Settings

The first option offered by the System Uptime Event Monitor triggers an alert if the system has been rebooted. Choose the level of alert that you'd like to receive in this event.

This event monitor also provides the option to include the uptime in all event monitor notifications. This helps you keep real-time tabs on system uptime.

Uptime Notification Settings

By default, Windows Performance Counters will be used to gather data for this event monitor. This will be optimal for most situations, but you can select the option to use WMI instead if you're having problems retrieving the data you need with PDH.
